Build a Career in Tax Preparation with EZ FILE NOW

EZ FILE NOW is seeking motivated individuals who are interested in developing professional tax preparation skills and joining a growing team.

Previous tax preparation experience is not required for entry level candidates. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to complete our tax preparer training program through EZ Tax Academy and develop the practical skills needed to prepare individual tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with the tax preparation process
• Review W2s, 1099s and other tax documents
• Prepare individual income tax returns
• Identify applicable deductions and tax credits
• Follow IRS due diligence and documentation requirements
• Use professional tax preparation software
• Communicate professionally with clients
• Maintain confidentiality of taxpayer information
• Complete required training and continuing education
• Meet company quality and compliance standards

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for individuals who are professional, dependable, coachable and comfortable working with clients and confidential financial information.

Strong communication, organization and basic computer skills are important. Tax preparation or financial services experience is a plus, but not required for entry level candidates.

Training Opportunity

Candidates who need tax preparation training can enroll in EZ Tax Academy for a one time $149 training fee.

Training includes tax fundamentals, filing status, dependents, W2 and 1099 income, Schedule C, deductions, tax credits, due diligence, compliance, real world tax scenarios and hands on training using EZ1040 PRO.
