Meet our speakers

Jean Steel

Happy People Win. Resilient People Thrive.

Jean's journey began overseas, living in Africa and Asia during her formative years as her family followed her father's career and passions. These early experiences instilled a deep appreciation for life's simple yet profound gifts and fostered a lifelong practice of gratitude.

Driven by her passion for well-being, Jean earned a Master's degree in Wellness and Mind-Body Health. Her education, combined with her diverse life experiences, shaped a holistic approach to understanding balance across the mental, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions of life. This integrative perspective fuels her mission to help individuals and organizations cultivate happiness, resilience, and overall well-being—the foundation of her work as a speaker, trainer, and author.

Jean has served on the faculty of four colleges and is the author of two books: I'd Like to Run Wild! A Wellness Action Guide and Need Change? Customer Service Tips to Grow from Good to Great! She works with organizations across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, agriculture, government, and maternal and child health, building a loyal and diverse client base.

Despite her professional commitments, Jean remains deeply connected to her roots, returning to Africa and Asia every two years. These visits not only rekindle cherished memories but also strengthen her commitment to service. She dedicates significant time and resources to supporting local and global charitable organizations, reflecting her belief that true success is measured not only by what we achieve, but by how we contribute to the lives of others.
