The Lake Elsinore Storm - Riverside County's only professional Minor League Baseball team - needs your help! The Storm's 501(c)(3) Thunder Cares, named after our mascot, the Prince of "Paws"itivity, Thunder, the big green dog, needs to raise money to continue our work in our community. So!, we are having a Golf Tournament! It will take place on October 14th at the beautiful CrossCreek Golf Club in Temecula! WE NEED GOLFERS and SPONSORS!

Thunder Cares gives 100% of the funds that it raises back to the community. We donate to Make-A-Wish, Lake Elsinore Little League, Lake Elsinore Unified School District, Milvet, Lake Elsinore Dream Center, Assistance League, Kamali'i Foster Care Agency, Riverside Sheriff’s Charities, Inc., and Animal Friends of The Valley, among others. 

We also support kids. In fact, one of our most important events each year is "Education Day." On "Education Day," the Storm host students from local schools. The students learn about how Diamond Stadium works as well as experiencing a baseball game with Riverside County’s only professional Minor League Baseball team. Thunder Cares provides transportation to the ballgame and reduced-priced food and tickets. 

The Lake Elsinore Storm also provides space at Diamond Stadium for fundraisers for various organizations throughout the baseball season. In these instances, Thunder Cares further supports these groups with raffle prizes and donations. 

Finally, and most importantly, Thunder Cares is always ready to help any organizations in need to help support their fundraising goals. Thunder Cares Fund is a component fund of the Inland Empire Community Foundation. Inland Empire Community Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a Nonprofit 501©(3) organization, Federal ID number 33-0748536. All proceeds benefit Thunder Cares, a component fund at the Inland Empire Community Foundation (IECF).
