Employer Connect Program Open House

Description
All employers are invited to attend the Employer Connect Program Open House hosted by the Riverside County Third District Supervisor Chuck Washington and Workforce Development Center. In collaboration with the Murrieta/Wildomar, Menifee Valley, and Temecula Valley Chambers of Commerce, this event is an opportunity for businesses to learn how they can apply for the Employer Connect Program grant when hiring a new employee.
When an employer enrolls in the Employer Connect Program, they can receive $20 per hour for 40 hours a week over a 3-month period for hiring each new employee. (Certain criteria does apply.)
This open house will offer on-the-spot registration with the Riverside County Workforce Development team who will assist with helping employers access benefits and resources immediately. Drop in anytime between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM for a personalized experience. No cost to attend.
If you’re ready to sign up during the open house, please bring:
- W-9 – A valid W-9 form for verification.
- Proof of Small Business Status – Documentation that your business meets SBA guidelines.
- Worker’s Compensation Coverage – Evidence of active coverage.
- W-2 Compliance – Confirmation that you issue W-2 forms to employees.
- Optional: COVID-19 Impact – Documentation showing how your business was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
