On Saturday, March 28, 2026, the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted its 60th Annual Awards Gala at Pechanga Resort Casino. This milestone event brought together more than 600 business and community leaders for an evening defined by elegance, celebration, and meaningful recognition. Guests enjoyed a thoughtfully curated program that included a formal dinner, an impressive silent auction, a distinguished awards presentation, and a lively after-party. The evening was made possible through the generous support of Title Sponsor Abbott, Premier Sponsor Pechanga Resort & Casino, and Diamond Sponsor The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, Temecula Operations.

The Annual Awards Gala serves as one of the Chamber’s most anticipated traditions, honoring individuals and organizations whose leadership, innovation, and service have made a lasting impact on the Temecula Valley.

The Chamber was honored to present the Lifetime Achievement Award to Melody Brunsting, whose more than three decades of leadership and vision have helped shape both the organization and the region. A past Chairman of the Board, Melody played an instrumental role in long-term strategic planning, including the development of the Chamber’s headquarters. Her contributions extend far beyond the Chamber, influencing regional branding, tourism, and some of Temecula’s most iconic events and traditions. Her enduring commitment to economic vitality and community enrichment leaves a legacy that will benefit generations to come.

The Citizen of the Year Award was presented to Gillian Larson, a dedicated nurse, speaker, and philanthropist whose life’s work reflects a deep commitment to service. As the founder of Reality Rally, she has created a nationally recognized fundraising platform benefiting Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center. Through her outreach, public speaking, and unwavering passion to inspire others, Gillian continues to make a profound and lasting difference in the lives of many.

In recognition of business excellence, Vivians.io was named Bronze Business of the Year for its innovative approach to helping organizations integrate artificial intelligence and automation in a way that remains people-centered and accessible. Elite Tax Partners, recipient of the Sterling Business of the Year Award, was recognized for its relationship-driven approach to financial strategy, empowering clients through education, proactive planning, and trusted partnership.

The Platinum Business of the Year Award was presented to The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, Temecula Operations, a cornerstone of local manufacturing and innovation. With a longstanding presence in the region, the company exemplifies operational excellence, sustainability, and a strong commitment to community engagement.

Among nonprofit honorees, the Ruby Organization of the Year Award was awarded to the Rotary Club of Temecula, a longstanding leader in service and community impact. The Emerald Organization of the Year Award was presented to Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center, recognized for its vital role in providing comprehensive, no-cost support services to thousands of individuals and families navigating cancer.

The Chamber also recognized emerging leadership through the Valley Young Professional of the Year Award, presented to Bhavani Vajrakarur Samlall of Grapeline Wine Tours and Stryder Transportation. Her dedication to innovation, community engagement, and regional planning reflects the next generation of leadership shaping Temecula’s future.

The Ambassador of the Year Award was awarded to Derick Brazell of Agape Auto Repair, whose commitment to relationship-building and community involvement exemplifies the spirit of Chamber ambassadorship. His leadership has helped elevate both his business and the broader community through trust, education, and service.

The Chairman’s Choice Award was presented to Dave Lester of Abbott, recognizing his exceptional professional achievements and continued dedication to the local business community through leadership and service.

Finally, the Welty Award for Tourism Professional of the Year was awarded to Andrew Masiel Sr., President of the Pechanga Development Corporation. His leadership in advancing economic development and tourism initiatives has played a significant role in elevating Temecula’s profile as a premier destination.

As the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce celebrates 60 years of service, the Annual Awards Gala remains a powerful reflection of the region’s strength, collaboration, and shared commitment to excellence. Each honoree represents the very best of the Temecula Valley, individuals and organizations whose contributions continue to shape a vibrant and thriving business community.
