Manufacturing Month 2025: Spotlight on Temecula’s Local Industry
A month-long celebration of Temecula’s thriving manufacturing community.
The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud to celebrate October as Manufacturing Month, a time dedicated to recognizing the innovation, leadership, and economic impact of manufacturers both locally and nationally.
We invite you to join us at the Temecula City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 14, at 3:00 p.m. During this meeting, Mayor Brenden Kalfus will present the annual Manufacturing Month Proclamation, highlighting the vital role manufacturing plays in our community. Immediately following, the City will showcase the “Made in Temecula” video, which celebrates the success and contributions of local manufacturers.
Manufacturing in Temecula
The City of Temecula is home to approximately 150 manufacturers, with nearly 70 serving as Temecula Chamber members. These businesses are at the heart of local innovation, creating quality jobs, strengthening our economy, and producing goods that reach far beyond our region.
The Temecula Chamber is honored to host the Southwest California Manufacturing Council (SCMC), which was established in 2013. The Council’s mission is to “build strong leadership within manufacturing and drive the growth, profitability, and stature of regional manufacturers.” Its purpose is to support, educate, and assist manufacturing and industrial companies throughout Southwest California, while advancing a positive business climate that allows these industries to thrive.
Manufacturing Month Nationwide
The Chamber joins with the International Trade Administration (ITA), U.S. government agencies, and industry partners in recognizing the significance of U.S. manufacturing. Nationally, the industry contributes $2.9 trillion to the economy, employs nearly 12.9 million American workers, and accounts for 11 percent of the nation’s GDP.
To mark this year’s celebration, the U.S. Commercial Service is offering Trade Talk Tuesdays: Powering U.S. Manufacturing for Global Growth, a webinar series designed to connect manufacturers with global opportunities and resources. Each session will be held at 11:00 a.m. ET and feature timely insights on key industry topics:
